Com-Power AM-741R Active Monopole Antenna with Remote, high quality, good price
I Introducing Com-Power AM-741R Active Monopole Antena:
A 41-inch monopole antenna is required to perform electric field emission measurements below 60 MHz per Military Standard (MIL-STD-461) and FAA (DO-160) specifications. This antenna is only used to measure emissions. It cannot be used for transmission. Active monopole antennas are typically used in shielded rooms or in monitor rooms, with the equipment under test (EUT) placed on a metal ground plane. The 41-inch rod and ground behave electrically as if the reflection of the rod was below the ground and the ground was removed. Because the stainless steel plate does not have enough surface area to reflect the entire 41-inch bar, it is bonded to the surrounding plane during use. The AM-741 is battery powered to avoid measurement errors that may be caused by an external power cable. The ANSI equivalent capacitance substitution method (ECSM) is the recommended method for calibrating the AM-741R monopole antenna. Individual calibration data will be included with each antenna.
