Com-Power CGO-505 Comb Generator for Radiated Signal Reference Source
I Introducing Com-Power CGO-505:
Model CGO-505 Comb Generator broadband reference signal source for quick EMC site testing. It emits signals up to 1000 MHz with a step size of 1 MHz. EMC laboratories calibrate radiated emissions testing sites, instruments, and accessories at least once a year. Calibration procedures are complex and time consuming. However, calibration does not prevent equipment malfunctions mid-calibration such as broken receivers, broken cables, poor connections, bad antennas, etc. Regular monitoring of several frequencies on the Comb Generator’s broadband radiated output can verify the entire setup quickly and effectively. Any potential problem in the test setup can be detected before it causes erroneous results. It is powered by a rechargeable NimH battery pack. It has a circular shape for more uniform radiation output.
