Com-Power CGO-515 Comb Generator Reference with 1 MHz or 5 MHz Step size
I Introducing Com-Power CGO-515:
The Com-Power CGO-515 Comb Generator is a broadband EMC signal source for rapid EMC site testing. It emits signals up to 1500 MHz in user-selectable 1 or 5 MHz frequency steps. EMC laboratories calibrate radiated emissions testing sites, instruments, and accessories at least once a year. Calibration procedures are complex and time consuming. However, calibration does not prevent equipment malfunctions mid-calibration such as broken receivers, broken cables, poor connections, bad antennas, etc. Regular monitoring of several frequencies on the Comb Generator’s broadband radiated output can verify the entire setup quickly and effectively. Any potential problem in the test setup can be detected before it causes erroneous results. It is powered by a rechargeable NimH battery pack. It has a circular shape for more uniform radiation output. It is supplied with a detachable antenna, battery charger and custom wooden storage box.
