EMC Pre-Compliance Emissions Test System With 2.1 GHz Spectrum Analyzer Com-Power PC-114
I Introducing Com-Power PC-114:
Perform radiated EMI pre-compliance testing & conduct at your facility up to 1 GHz. The Com-Power PC-114 EMI Emissions Testing System is the ideal solution for performing pre-compliance EMC testing from 9 kHz – 1 GHz and comes with a 2.1 GHz Spectrum Analyzer. It has the essential equipment required for radiated and conducted EMI emission measurements. The system includes a spectrum analyzer, antenna, near-field probe, pre-amplifier, LISN and non-conductive antenna tripod. Pre-compliance testing in EMC is a commonly used term and not easily defined. Generally, it implies an inspection carried out before a formal inspection for legal compliance. Official compliance is achieved in a facility designed and equipped with test equipment that fully complies with applicable EMC standards. Such facilities and instrumentation are capital intensive and can be expensive even to rent and are not easily available. Compliance testing is carried out to the exact requirements of the Standard and other reference documents complying with the test methods and final details. Additionally, the testing facility may require to be accredited by an accreditation agency such as NVLAP, A2LA. Typically, before conducting compliance testing at a facility, it is desirable to know whether and how close a product is to compliance. Pre-compliance testing is especially useful for specifications such as FCC, Part 15, EN 55022 or EN 55011 (CISPR 22 or CISPR11). Pre-compliance testing often means using fully compliant methods but making some educated compromises in site or equipment usage to reduce testing costs and time. Here are some of the benefits of pre-compliance testing.
