3 Phase – Line Impedance Stabilization Network for MIL-STD 46 LISN LI-3P-4X
I Introducing LISN Com-Power LI-3P-4X:
The LI-3P-4x series includes four separate four-conductor, 50Ω, 50 μH Line Impedance Stabilized Network (LISN) models. The main difference between the four models is their respective current ratings:
LI-3P-416 16 Amps (per line, continuous)
LI-3P-432 32 Amps (per line, continuous)
LI-3P-463 63 Amps (per line, continuous)
LI-3P-4100 100 Amps (per line, continuous)
These LISNs provide the measurement platform necessary to perform emission compliance testing conducted on power lines according to MIL-STD-461, CE102, conducted emissions, radio frequency potential, conductors electricity. LISN performs the following functions:
• provide a stable, defined power line impedance over its entire frequency range to the Equipment Under Test (EUT);
• isolate the EUT and the measuring circuit from the power supply, thereby minimizing its influence on the measurements; And,
• couple the noise voltages to the coaxial measurement port, which connects to the measuring device.
LISN uses air core inductors to prevent saturation and permeability variations. The mounting plates are unpainted to facilitate connection to ground during installation, which is essential due to the high leakage current.
The sides of each LISN have windows for cooling. The LI-3P-463 and LI-3P-4100 also include two internal cooling fans operated by a switch on the rear panel
